Cupit Notes



 WILLIAM CUPIT 
	According to a book "A HISTORY OF THE CUPIT FAMILY", Chapter Three states that a 
	WILLIAM CUPIT married ELIZABETH ANDRSON daughter of JAMES and JANE ANDERSON. 
	JAMES ANDESON objected to the suit so the couple eloped and ELIZABETH was disinherited 
	for doing so. WILLIAM and ELIZABETH CUPIT sold their holding in SC and moved to MS

 JANE CUPIT 
	From "The Woodvile Republican" Archives
	August 15, 1840
	DAVID ANDERSON guardian of JANE CUPIT, will present his accounts for final settlement.
	
 	According to a book "A HISTORY OF THE CUPIT FAMILY", Chapter Three
	They moved to either Wisconsin or more likely, Minnesota and all contact with her was lost.

	ELIZABETH and ROBERT were married by ROBERT W. KENNON 
	Not much information on their children.
