Lois Cavin McKey
Lois Cavin McKey, 70, of Gloster, died April 27, 2005, at
FieldMemorial Community Hospital in Centreville.
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in
Gloster and 9 a.m. Saturday until services there at 11 a.m.
The Rev. MaxForeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn
Cemetery in Centreville.
Mrs. McKey was born March 6, 1935, in Wilkinson County to
Lev Otis Cavin and Lucille Day Cavin.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. McKey was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years,
Randall Harrison McKey; and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Florence Morgan of Centreville;
two sons, Harrison "Buddy" McKey of Gloster and David McKey of
Crossett, Ark.; five grandchildren, Karey Lynn Jackson, Lewis
Morgan Jr., Randall Morgan, Amanda McKey and Randy McKey; four
great-grandchildren, Maribeth Jackson, Dusty Lynn Jackson, Clayton
Jackson and Garrett Reed; five brothers and sisters, Jack Cavin of
Columbia, David Cavin of Merritt Island, Fla., Estelle Powell and
Anita Parker, both of Baton Rouge, and Lev "PeeWee" Cavin Jr. of
Crosby; a sister-in-law, Florence Willingham of Gloster; and
numerous nieces and nephews.

R. Harrison McKey Sr., 68, of Gloster, died Jan. 29, 2004,at his residence.
Visitation continued today at Brown Funeral Home in Glosteruntil services
there at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. John Brashierand the Rev. Max Foreman
officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemeteryin Centreville.
Mr. McKey was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Centreville to John McKey Sr. and
Amanda Smith McKey.
He was a millwright with Gloster Chips Inc. in Gloster andwas a member
of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Crosby.
Mr. McKey was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers,Patrick
and Wesley McKey.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lois Cavin McKey ofGloster; a sister,
Florence Willingham of Gloster; a daughter,Florence Morgan of Centreville;
two sons, Harrison "Buddy"McKey of Gloster and David McKey of Crossett, Ark.;

Wiley Cavin, Wilkinson County
1924 - 2010
WILKINSON COUNTY — Services for Wiley “Goat” Cavin, 85, of Woodville,
who died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional
Medical Center in Baton Rouge, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mars Hill
Community Church with the Rev. Bernard Waites, the Rev. Greg Touchstone
and the Rev. Reggie Forman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m.
until service time Sunday at the church.
Mr. Cavin was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Wilkinson County near Crosby, the son
of Henry Lee Cavin and Ollie Leake Cavin.
He was a boiler room operator with International Paper Company in Natchez.
He was a member of the Mars Hill Community Church in Wilkinson County. He was
a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Cavin was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Wesley Cavin of Woodville;
and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Anna McKey and husband, L.B., of Centreville,
Lorraine Frelich and husband, John, of Woodville and Debi Smith and husband,
Ralph, of Lake St. John; two sons, Wiley Bubba Cavin Jr. and Glenn Cavin and wife,
Cathy, all of Woodville; special friend, Becky Pace of Natchez; seven grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors.
The Papa Goat we all adored was a kind soul. He was possessed of a deep abiding love
for his family and friends. He loved the Lord also and told us so on many occasions.
He had sharp wit, loved baseball and could spin a good yarn with the best of them.
We will never forget how much fun he was nor how tender he was with dogs and children.
We will sorely miss him until we are with him again on that other shore. Rest in Jesus
peace darling. We love you very much.
